Banff School Tuition

The Banff School provides a simple and easy to understand Tuition Schedule for each of our academic divisions. From a simplified tuition schedule to a 100% online application/enrollment process (for most students), it has never been easier to start a private school education for your student!

2021-2022 Tuition and Fees

BEAR CUBS (PRESCHOOL 3s & 4s)

Tuition and fees are non-refundable/non-transferable. All payments are processed through a third-party, SchoolAdmin. During enrollment, families will setup a billing account and payment information.

All payments are non-refundable.

The Banff School offers a 15% "Legacy Discount" for any student enrolled in our Preschool program who also has an older sibling enrolled at the school. This discount will carry forward with the student until they graduate from The Banff School in 12th grade.

The payment of the Enrollment Fee confirms space for the student in his/her class and is non-refundable.

Bear Cubs (age 3) 3-day Annual Tuition: $3,850
Bear Cubs (age 3) 5-day Annual Tuition: $7,425

Tuition includes field trips, spirit shirt and curricular activities. Uniforms, meals, school supplies and any extra-curricular classes or activities are not included. Regular school day hours are 8:30am-1:00pm (3-day program) and 8:30am-3:00pm (5-day programs).

 

Extended Day - Hourly: $10/hour
Extended Day – Package (5-day programs only): $1,400/semester

The Banff School offers extended hours from 7:00am-8:00am and 3:00pm-6:00pm. These additional hours can be added either hourly ($10/hour) or as a package. Please Note: package option is only available per semester.

The Banff School uses Rolling Enrollment, a one-time enrollment process where your student continues to be enrolled until graduation or a family opts out of enrollment for the next school year. Families have until the published “Rolling Enrollment Cancellation Date” to notify the Admissions Office id they do not wish to attend the following school year.

Your enrollment contract with the school financially obligates you to pay the full amount of the annual tuition cost regardless of attendance or mid-year withdrawal. This commitment does not apply to optional fees added to the student’s account. The Banff School provides an optional Tuition Insurance Plan through A.W.G. Dewar Insurance. If selected, this plan helps protect the investment you are making in your child’s education. For more information or to request a copy of the plan benefits and policies, please contact the school’s Admissions Office.

KINDERGARTEN-12TH GRADE

Regular school day hours are 8:30am-3:00pm (K-1st grades), 8:30am-3:10pm (2nd-5th grades) and 8:30am-3:20pm (6th-12th grades).

Please Note: All 6th-8th grade students are required to have an iPad and all 9th-12th grade students are required to have a MacBook computer. Learn more about 6th-12th grade Technology Requirements.

Extended morning and afternoon hours are offered from 7:00am-8:00am and 3:00pm-6:00pm. These hours can be added at an hourly rate ($10/hour) or through one of two options:

HOMEWORK ROOM
1st-12th Grades: $200/month
This option can be added to a student’s account per month. Homework Room runs from 3:30pm-5:30pm and provides a quiet room for the student to work on his/her homework assignments under the supervision of a Banff staff member.

EXTENDED DAY PACKAGE
Kindergarten: $1,400/semester
1st-12th Grades: $1,600/semester
This option can be added to a student's account per semester and covers the extended hours of 7:00am-8:00am and 3:00pm-6:00pm and automatically includes the “Homework Room” option (for students in 1st-12th grade). If selected, families commit to the Extended Day option for one full semester and cannot drop the option mid-semester regardless of attendance or necessity.
