LEGACY DISCOUNT

The Banff School offers a 15% "Legacy Discount" for any student enrolled in our Preschool program who also has an older sibling enrolled at the school. This discount will carry forward with the student until they graduate from The Banff School in 12th grade.

TUITION INSURANCE

Participation in Tuition Insurance (administered by A.W.G. Dewar Insurance Company) is required for families choosing to pay the annual tuition cost in monthly payments. This program insures tuition (prepaid and due) in the event of withdrawal or dismissal, according to the terms of the policy.

Kindergarten – 12th Grade: $22,000

Tuition does not include: uniforms, meals, school supplies, AP/Dual Credit courses (9th-12th grade), textbooks (6th-12th), technology device (6th-12th grade), experiential/outdoor education trips and any extra-curricular classes, sports teams or activities.

EXTENDED DAY

Regular school day hours are 8:30 am–3:00 pm (K-1st grades), 8:30 am–3:15 pm (2nd-5th grades) and 8:30 am–3:30 pm (6th-12th grades). Extended morning and afternoon hours are offered from 7:00 am–8:15 am and 3:00 pm–6:00 pm. These hours can be added at an hourly rate or as a package:

This option can be added to a student's account per semester and covers the extended hours of 7:00 am–8:15 am and 3:00 pm–6:00 pm. If selected, families commit to the Extended Day option for one full semester and cannot drop the option mid-semester regardless of attendance or need.

PAYMENTS

All billing payments are submitted and processed through the school's third-party billing and enrollment company, FinalSite. Payments can be made using either a credit card or a bank draft (processing fees apply). A valid “Auto Pay” payment method is required in the online payment system at all times (even for students whose tuition is paid in full). Parents may pay tuition costs in full or through monthly payments at the time of enrollment.

Monthly Payment Policies

• Monthly tuition payments are due on the 1st of each month.
• A student's annual tuition cost must be paid in full by April 1, 2026, regardless of payment plan start date.
• Participation in Tuition Insurance (administered by A.W.G. Dewar) is required for families choosing monthly payments. The Plan insures tuition in the event of withdrawal or dismissal and costs 2.8% of annual tuition.
• Monthly payment plans incur a one-time $40 payment-plan management fee (assessed by FinalSite).
• Late payments are subject to a $25 late-payment fee.

Monthly Payment Plan Start Dates

• Students enrolling prior to May 1st will pay tuition in 12 monthly installments, beginning on May 1st.
• Students enrolling on or after May 1st will pay tuition in 11 monthly installments, beginning on June 1st.
• Students enrolling on or after June 1st will pay tuition in 10 monthly installments, beginning on July 1st.
• Students enrolling on or after July 1st will pay tuition in 9 monthly installments, beginning on August 1st.
• Students enrolling on or after August 1st will be required to pay their first month's tuition with the payment of the Enrollment Fee, prior to the student's first day of attendance in class. The remaining balance will be divided by the remaining months of school up to and including April, with the first installment due on the 1st of the month following the student's Enrollment.

ANNUAL TUITION COMMITMENT

The student’s enrollment contract financially obligates the parent to pay the full amount of the annual tuition cost regardless of attendance or mid-year withdrawal/dismissal. This commitment does not apply to optional fees added to the student’s account.
