The Banff School provides a simple and easy to understand Tuition Schedule for each of our academic divisions. From a simplified tuition schedule to a 100% online application/enrollment process (for most students), it has never been easier to start a private school education for your student!

BEAR CUBS (PRESCHOOL 3s & 4s)
Tuition and fees are non-refundable/non-transferable. All payments are processed through a third-party company (FinalSite). During enrollment, families will setup a billing account and payment information.

EXTENDED DAY
Regular school day hours are 8:30am-3:00pm. Extended morning and afternoon hours are offered from 7:00am-8:00am and 3:00pm-6:00pm. These hours can be added at an hourly rate or as a package:
Extended Day-Hourly: $15/hour
Extended Day-Package: $1,460/semester
TUITION REFUND PLAN
Participation in the "Tuition Refund Plan" (administered by A.W.G. Dewar Insurance Company) is required for families choosing to pay the annual tuition cost in monthly payments. This program insures tuition (prepaid and due) in the event of withdrawal or dismissal, according to the terms of the policy.
Tuition Refund Plan: 2.8% of annual tuition
LEGACY DISCOUNT
The Banff School offers a 15% "Legacy Discount" for any student enrolled in our Preschool program who also has an older sibling enrolled at the school. This discount will carry forward with the student until they graduate from The Banff School in 12th grade.
All billing payments are submitted and processed through the school's third party billing and enrollment company, FinalSite. Payments can be made using either a credit card (processing fee applies) or a bank draft . A valid "Auto Pay" payment method is required in the online payment system at all times (even for students whose tuition is paid in full). Parents will be given the choice of paying tuition costs in full or through monthly payments at the time of enrollment.
PAYMENTS

Monthly Payment Policies
- Monthly tuition payments are due on the 1st of each month (this due date cannot be changed)
- A student's annual tuition cost must be paid in full by April 1st, 2025, regardless of payment plan start date.
- Participation in the "Tuition Refund Plan" (administered by A.W.G. Dewar) is required for families choosing monthly payments. This program insures tuition (prepaid and due) in the event of withdrawal or dismissal, according to the terms of the policy. The cost of the Plan is 2.8% of the annual tuition cost.
- Monthly payment plans are assessed a one-time $40 payment plan management fee by FinalSite.
- Late payments will be assessed a $25 Late Payment Fee.
Monthly Payment Plan Start Dates
- Students enrolling prior to June 1st will pay tuition in 11 monthly installments, beginning on June 1st.
- Students enrolling on or after June 1st will pay tuition in 10 monthly installments, beginning on July 1st.
- Students enrolling on or after July 1st will pay tuition in 9 monthly installments, beginning on August 1st.
- Students enrolling on or after August 1st will be required to pay their first month's tuition with the payment of the Enrollment Fee, prior to the student's first day of attendance in class.
ROLLING ENROLLMENT
The Banff School uses Rolling Enrollment, a one-time enrollment process where your student continues to be enrolled until graduation or a family opts out of enrollment for the next school year. Families have until the published “Rolling Enrollment Cancellation Date” to notify the Admissions Office if they do not wish to attend the following school year.
TUITION COMMITMENT
Your enrollment contract with the school financially obligates you to pay the full amount of the annual tuition cost regardless of attendance or mid-year withdrawal/dismissal. This commitment does not apply to optional fees added to the student’s account.
Kindergarten-12th Grade

Tuition does not include: uniforms, meals, school supplies, AP/Dual Credit courses (9th-12th grade), textbooks (for 6th-12th), technology device (6th-12th grade), experiential/outdoor education trips and any extra-curricular classes, sports teams or activities.
