Banff School Tuition

The Banff School provides a simple and easy to understand Tuition Schedule for each of our academic divisions. Other than an initial Application Fee, all students have one tuition cost with no additional fees charged at the time of enrollment.

Tuition and Fee Schedule by Academic Level

Tuition, minus deposit, is paid monthly via electornic check or credit card. Our standard payment plan begins in June and ends in April, for 11 monthly payments. Students enrolling in school after this payment plan begins will pay tuition in fewer monthly installments since all tuition accounts must be paid in full by April each year. All payments are non-refundable.

The application fee is for new students only and is paid at the time of application submission. This fee is non-refundable and must be made in full prior to the applicant being reviewed for admission.

All students pay an initial, non-refundable deposit at the time of enrollment or re-enrollment. The payment of deposit confirms space for the student in his/her class and is deducted from the student's annual tuition cost.

Tuition includes all enrollment costs, field trips, spirit shirt for each student and all curricular activities. Uniforms, meals, school supplies and any extra-curricular classes are not included in the tuition. “Standard” tuition is for the regular school day (8:30 am-3:00 pm) and “Extended Day” tuition is for our early and late extended hours (7:00 am-6:00 pm). 3-day program is M/W/F, 8:30am-1pm.

Students are not considered for admission to The Banff School until a completed application is submitted along with the non-refundable application fee. Upon acceptance and before the student may attend school, the non-refundable deposit must be paid, enrollment contract signed, and tuition payment arrangements completed. Subsequently, tuition is due on the first of each month. Tuition is paid in 11 monthly installments from June to April. All tuition payments are non-refundable/non-transferable. The Banff School operates on a “Rolling Enrollment” policy where, once enrolled at the school, the student will automatically be considered re-enrolled for all subsequent years and deposit costs automatically deducted from their tuition payment account each enrollment season unless otherwise notified by the parents of an intent to withdraw for the future year.

Your enrollment contract with the school financially obligates you to pay the full amount of the annual tuition regardless of attendance or mid-year withdrawal. The Banff School provides an optional Tuition Refund Plan through A.W.G. Dewar Insurance. If selected, this plan helps protect the investment you are making in your child’s education. For a covered cause of loss, this Tuition Insurance will pay the remaining portion of tuition up to the coinsurance percentage listed on the policy. For more information or to request a copy of the plan benefits and policies, please contact the school’s Admissions Office.

"Standard" tuition is for the regular school day hours (8:30am-3:00pm for Kindergarten; 8:30am-3:10pm for 1st-4th grades; 8:30am-3:20pm for 5th-12th grades). “Extended Day” tuition is for our early and late extended hours of 7:00 am - 6:00 pm.

Deposit is paid at time of enrollment and is required in order to obtain the student's I-20. Once the student has passed their interview with the embassy, the balance of tuition will be due in full. All payments are non-refundable.

International tuition includes all enrollment costs, technology equipment, field trips, spirit shirt for each student, all curricular activities, participation in one after-school athletic team (or after-school activity for 1st through 2nd grades) and graduation fee (where applicable). AP/Dual Credit courses, textbooks (for 6th-12th), school supplies, experiential/outdoor education trips and any extra-curricular classes or activities are not included in the tuition.

Students are not considered for admission to The Banff School until a completed application is submitted along with the non-refundable application fee. Upon acceptance, the non-refundable deposit must be paid to secure a spot in the school and have the student’s I-20 issued. Annual tuition (minus deposit) must be paid in full within 30 days of passing the student’s
