Where to Purchase

  • Uniform items marked with an asterisk MUST either be purchased through our uniform supplier, Dennis Uniforms or our Online Spirit Store.

  • All other clothing items may be purchased through Dennis Uniforms or any clothing store of your choice.

Dress Code Rules

  • All regular uniform tops must have the Banff logo embroidered on them - and must be purchased from Dennis Uniforms. Tops purchased from other clothing stores are not allowed.
  • Students may only wear rubber-soled shoes while on campus. Students are not allowed to wear unmatched shoes, shoes without backs, sandals, rain boots, cowboy boots, Ugg-style or Crocs-style footwear.
  • Shoes should be laced, tied, buckled, or fastened as designed.
  • Socks (or tights for girls) must be either red, white or blue solid colors.
  • Shirts must be tucked in at all times (all grades).
  • Pants must always be belted (1st-12th grade).
  • Hats, caps or sweatshirt hoods of any kind are not allowed to be worn while on campus.
  • All skirts, shorts, jumpers and gym shorts must be an appropriate length. Appropriate length is determined when the garment parallels the ends of the fingertips when the student’s arms are extended straight down at the side and the length is not greater than 6 inches from the floor when the student is kneeling. Additional length is acceptable.
  • Hair should be neatly groomed, should not cover the eyes and should be natural in color and not styled in any way that is distracting to the learning environment.
  • Any form of dress or personal grooming styles which are considered distracting or disruptive to the purpose or conduct of the school, will not be permitted.
  • Students may wear jewelry only in piercings on the lower ear lobe and any student with ear piercings/jewelry deemed excessive by the administration will be asked to remove them.
  • Visible tattoos are not allowed.
  • Beards and facial hair are not allowed.
  • All articles of clothing usually removed on campus should be labeled with student’s first and last names. Unclaimed articles of clothing left at school over the winter break or summer will be given to a charitable organization.
  • Students who are uncertain about uniform requirements should consult in advance with the office. Final determination of appropriate dress rests completely with the faculty and administration. If a student is not dressed appropriately for class or field trips, parents will be called and the student will be denied participation until the dress conforms.

  1. Clean, modest, well-maintained, proper-fitting clothing of their choice, using the general guide of school appropriateness.
  2. Students may not wear spaghetti strap tops, tube tops, midriff tops that show the belly, or t-shirts with objectionable slogans or that advertise alcohol.
  3. Oversized or long shirts are not allowed. Student's pants, shorts or skirts must be visible below the bottom hem of the shirt.
  4. Students may not wear costumes or pajamas, unless part of a specific "Theme Day" communicated in advance by the school's administration.
  5. Students may not wear ripped/torn jeans or yoga pants. Leggings are allowed, but only when worn with another piece of clothing such as shorts or a skirt. All clothing must be no more than 6 inches from the floor when the student is kneeling.

FREE DRESS PASS
In addition to "Free Dress" days for all students, a "Free Dress Pass" may also be given to students for attending certain school events, completing certain tasks, showing outstanding school spirit or when being awarded "Student of the Month." Free Dress Passes cannot be used any day where Formal Uniform has been required, on "House Game" days, or on special dress-up days (like "Go Texan Day" or "Pink-Out Day"). Additionally, Free Dress Passes can only be redeemed during the school year in which they were awarded.
