Experiential Education

Middle & Upper School Experiential Education Trip

Banff offers students in grades 8th-12th an annual spring trip to a major cultural destination around the United States. We take our curriculum on the road, providing hands-on learning opportunities while creating life-long memories for our students.

The spring trip cycles through five different destinations each year. This enables our students to experience a different trip during all of their middle and upper school years at Banff.

  • New York, NY - Broadway, Arts & Culture

  • Los Angeles, CA - Leadership Skills & the Movie Industry

  • Deep South - History of Jazz, Soul Music & the Civil Rights Movement

  • Orlando, FL - STEM Learning with Disney

  • Washington, DC - History of the United States

Banff students enjoy a week of water recreation, camping, environmental education, ziplining, sports activities, hiking and a state of the art ropes course. Our Outdoor Education trips are a time for bonding, renewal, outdoor excitement, relationships, and relaxation all while on an amazing trip!
