Art
at Banff is a much-loved subject. Students gain a deeper understanding
and appreciation of the different types of art from contemporary
works to more avant-garde pieces. Studio work is geared towards
the creation of a portfolio for each student.
Classes culminate in the yearly spring Banff Art Show which
features all student works. Past subjects have included patriotic
themes, still life, oil & watercolors and earth art.
Recently, art students participated in a "Cross-Continent"
art project with other Banff students traveling to London,
England.
