| The Banff School provides values-based learning in a safe and stimulating environment that fosters the growth of self-esteem, leadership and good citizenship. |

|
The
administrative and teaching staff consists of
twenty-six men and women who have been educated
at 17 different universities in six different
countries. Committed to continuing their own education,
both teachers and administrators (more than half
with advanced degrees) are enrolled annually in
professional growth and graduate courses.
The
staff of The Banff School strives to challenge students
to work to the best of their individual abilities
and to prepare them academically and emotionally
to meet future challenges. We work to teach students
responsibility for their actions and motivate
them to achieve greatness when they leave our
institution for other horizons.

The
wooded Banff campus, located in Northwest Harris
County, Houston, Texas consists of three main buildings
situated on five acres. The original facility houses
preschool and elementary classrooms along with offices,
library, computer lab and cafeteria.
|
 |
The
Junior High and High School occupy a newer facility
built in 1991. This facility houses multiple classrooms,
a high-speed internet lab, a science lab and locker
facilities.
|
The
new Fine Arts & Sports Complex, completed
in 2001, houses our state-of-the-art theatre with
professional lighting & sound equipment, dressing
rooms, dance & rehearsal studios, full size
gymnasium for basketball, volleyball, tennis and
other activities, locker facilities and faculty
offices.
|
 |
Adjacent
to these buildings are basketball courts, volleyball
courts, an athletic field for soccer and baseball, and
playgrounds for younger children.
Minutes
north of FM 1960 and west of Champions Golf Club, Banff
School’s campus is easily accessible via a variety
of routes from anywhere within a radius of several miles.
Yet the immediate setting is a relatively unspoiled
haven, peacefully removed from the "hurly-burly"
of major metropolitan street arteries with the attendant
noise, traffic congestion, dangers, and distractions.
